Why Capture Tracker

Accounting software wasn’t built around the one-owner S-Corp.

General-purpose systems track income and expenses. But your books also have to keep salary, distributions, reimbursements, owner-paid expenses, shareholder loans, basis, and year-end records straight.

The accounting reality

The business

Income · expenses · receivables · payables

Its owner

Salary · distributions · reimbursements · basis

Capture Tracker was designed around both from the beginning.

One system

One accounting system for the business — and your relationship with it.

Everyday bookkeeping, owner activity, reconciliation, and year-end records resolve in the same system. You do not have to reconstruct the S-Corp story at year end.

Specificity is the feature

General software has to support everybody. Capture Tracker doesn’t.

A narrower product can use the right accounting language instead of asking you to adapt a generic system.

A deliberate fit

This is not for everybody.

It is built to fit one kind of company exceptionally well.

Built for you

  • You own 100% of the S-Corp.
  • You sell services rather than inventory.
  • You already use a payroll provider.
  • Money regularly moves between you and the company.
  • You want clean books and organized records for your CPA.

Probably not for you

  • Multiple owners or outside shareholders.
  • Inventory or point-of-sale operations.
  • You need the software itself to run payroll.
  • You need tax returns prepared or filed.
  • You need CRM, scheduling, or large-team permissions.

What Capture Tracker doesn’t do

Capture Tracker keeps and organizes the books. It does not run payroll, move customer or vendor money, file tax returns, or replace your CPA. Automatic bank and card connections are provider-ready but not currently active; bank and card activity uses CSV import today.

Built for your company

Your accounting software should understand the company you actually run.

Capture Tracker does.
